2005 GTO Rear Suspension

Whether it's launching the car or power shifting thru the gears, the rear wheels seem to have a hard time (a) staying on the ground and (b) keeping the car straight! The ass end slides all over! Anyone got any ideas???

It doesn't sound like your issue is due to wheel hop, if it is, this was fixed in MY05.
I added CIA and LT headers along with a custom dyno tune and spin the tires through first and well in to second. This spring I'm going to look into rolling the back fenders and adding wider tires to see if I can get a better bite.

Hey, buddy! Thanks for your reply! I've got some wheel hop, too ... but I'm more concerned about getting the rear wheels planted so they'll stay straight. In the meantime, please educate me...what's CIA? LT? Thanks!!!

CIA = Cold Air Induction
LT = Long Tube Headers
