alright gentlemen... my car has been on jacks for a few months now because of my suspension/ brake project. I went to start the car while still on jacks....just to keep everything cherry.
Optima red top battery is dead...crap.
Bring it back to sears, get a new one for free....sweet!
Install, go to start car and nada....
Looked like i was only getting around 8-9 amps...so i hooked up a battery charger.
I hear clicking, i get lights, radio ect.... but nothing turns over.
So, you guys think my starter is shot? Or am i over seeing something?

Sure you didn't knock anything off or disconnect something and forget about it when you were working on it?
You mean 8 or 9 volts right?
You can try and give the starter a slap or 2 (while checking your connections out  ), but I'm following my gut here and say that something is not connected right.
