I have 15 / 75/235 on there now, its a 2wd. I can not find factory 16 or 17s wheels in 5Lug. So I decided to keep the 15s and go for a bigger tire...

I have in mind 15 / 75 / 265 ?? Can someone tell me if that will be a good buy? I want to truck to sit up higher than it currently does! Which is why I think the 75 should do that... Let me know if im wrong.

well just put some 15/75/265 on him, and he sits up alot higher, and looks beefier... I must say, nothing less than 265s now!! WOW  Even rides better.

dont forget to get you PCM updated for the new tire size so you dont screw up your tranny, like I did.

 :grinno: I seriously dont belive you screwed up your tranny from your tires!!

Take a look at this online calculator
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/brochure/info/tmpInfoTireMathNS.jsp

my original was 235/75/15 my new ones are 265/75/15

thats LESS than 3mph miss calculation by the computer!! so, I wouldnt worry! It looks 100% better also. It really fills most of the wheel well out, but still has plenty travel room.

Tire size changes can affect the gear ratio, but I think mine was just a "straw that broke the camels back" situation... but I figured itd be worth noting cause you never know.
