1995 GMC Sierra 5.7 4x4 175,000 miles. Having a problem with the heater.....there is none!!! It died 3 days ago. There is no fan, no heat, no nothing. We have checked the fuses and none are blown. Any ideas.....Thanks

Could be that your blower motor quit working. Or it could also be the relay or blower motor resistor. You can test the motor buy connecting a ground and 12v source to the terminals, if it works then you need to work back to the control unit, if not you need a new motor. Hope this helps.

I remeber see'ing several post's awhile back where the digital control heads went bad, do your control's still light up and give the appearance of working?
If not the control unit in the dash needs replaced, "usually".
For verification of this, once you have the head unit out check for power at the connector with a test light or multieter, if you have power at the connector the head unit is bad.
Hope this helps.

To get the rubber cover off the blower motor you have to pull the glove box and then pull the ecm. There is a bracket that holds the ecm, under the ecm there are 3 or 4 bolts holding the bracket down once you get the bracket out then u will be able to remove the cover.
