I have both a 63 and 65 Rivieras. The ST400 went out in the 65, and all I'm left with is a Dynaflow in the 63. I was wondering if anyone had ever done such a conversion in a car built two years after the trans was discontinued? Any help would be appreciated. Main points of interest are carrier locating, drilling, and mounting, as well as how to slip the comphensating joints apart. Can I run 63 in the front and 65 in the rear? Will I have any balance problems associated with an oddball flexplate? Is it to be located on the crank? Thanks, and thanks, and thanks again.

You wnat a Dyna in place of a 400 which is cheap to rebuild, wow, plus all the work and research and the possibilities it won't work, I don't see the reason for this. Nothing interchanges here.
