Hey Everybody. I'm New To The Forum. I Own A 1998 Cherokee Classic(4x4, 4.0l, Auto Trans, 116,000 Miles) I Have Recently Been Having An Unusual Clunk In The Front End. It Is Coming From The Left Side. Typically It Happens After Accelerating From A Stop With Normal Throttle. As Soon As The 1-2 Shift Occurs The Clunk Will Happen. It Also Happens When Turning From A Stop. These Are The Two Most Common Occurences. Every Once In A While It Will Do It Over Bumps, But Not Usually. It Has New Shocks All The Way Around, New Motor And Trans Mounts, I Grease The Front End Regularly. Anyone Have Any Ideas? --tony

The track bar is the first thing I would check.
