Okay, very long story shortened very much...

1984 Sierra 2500, 4wd, '75 Buick 455 eng. swap.

My brother put the battery back in it the other day...backwards. Apparently there was smoke from a red wire that is above the master brake cylinder. Pulled the batt. off and put a spare on the right way...

I go to start the truck, and when the key is in the on posistion the warning lights don't come on and the buzzer doesn't buzz. Turn to start, and nothing. Headlights come on, clock ticks. Batt. wires appear good.

I go to the wire that supposedly was smoking, bypass the in-line fuse thingy and still nothing. Checked ign. fuse in fuse block and it's good.

Help? Any other in-line fuses or relays, ect, that could have been damaged by hooking the battery on backwards? I wasn't there to see what may have been sparking/smoking.

You probably blew the ign. fuseable link.
