The rear view mirror in my 99 Tahoe has the built-in compass and temperature gauge. Recently, it stopped displaying the temperature in Fahrenheit, but will still display direction and Celsius. This mirror is expensive to replace...any suggestions as to what the problem and solution might be?

Thanks,
Steve

Mine does the same thing...In order to get Fahrenheit back you have to push the temp. button twice...not sure if you did that or not, but with mine thats how it works...I also hear global warming might be the reason too...;)

Thanks usamarshal. When I push the temp button it switches to Celsius, if I push it again, it just goes blank.....push again and it goes back to Celsius.

For some reason the Fahrenheit will not display. Doesn't appear to be the LCD display, as it works fine for direction and Celsius. Very strange...perhaps global warming IS to blame!!

Dude....YOU ROCK!! That was it, good as new now. I guess somehow I switched it to C. Thanks for posting and helping,
