I have a 99 Taurus Im trying find out which way the thermostat goes in.
Does the thermostat spring face into the motor or towards the radiator on the right side of the motor (facing the front) this is the se 3.0L motor

The spring is suppose to go in toward the motor.

There should be an arrow that says "Engine" or some such.
