I think vacuuming the interior would go farther then removing the hood prop to tell you the truth.

What do you have in there? 2.8?

I think that year had the 3.1

We were just kidding, don't take it personal.

To tell you the truth my car could probably use a vacuuming more than yours. Heck I have the freaking door panels in the backseat right now. :icon16:

Sounds like you have a project on your hands. Good luck man, and have fun with it.

Yeah, nobody's serious, well I was kinda serious, I just always get a blast out the majority of F-bodies that have either baseball bat or broomsitck holding up the hood or laying next to the car to have 2 and 2 put together, take a look a Blownalcoholboy's pics, you;ll see what I mean :lol2:

BTW, just a warning, those hatches are heavy SOB's especially when they fall on you when removing your interior!

The hood's a heavy mother too.

When I got the z and swapped the stock hood for my fiberglass one, I forgot how heavy it was so I drop the damn thing on my foot, pointed end by the windshield mf'r hurt bad. Get the old hood out of the way and in painful anger went and picked up the 'glass one in anticipation of the weight I just dealt with end ended up accidently hucking the thing in place, upside down, oops.

yeah i noticed the the doors and the hood are pretty heavy. I just had some work done on my bird, I had to get a new headlight switch because my interior (dash and dome light) and tailights weren't workin. A tuneup was done along with replacing the original distributer cap. Total cost- $407.10 All that i have left is an oil change, replace the window motors and door seals and those friggen expensive t-top seals and then I move on to hookin up a audio system and performance parts.

Is there an effective temporary fix that I can do for the door seals and t-top seals?, which are badly leakin to the point of feeling wetness on the headliner :banghead:

Here's a funny sotry for you (I posted it up before, somewhere)

In my first Camaro, my wife (g/f at the time) and I were going out and it was pouring buckets of rain. There was a gap in the door on the passanger side and water kept dripping in on her. She finally got uber and was telling me I'd better do something about it. So I'm sitting there thinking of what to do, happen to glance down and see her purse, and :thinkerg: "hey, what's small, yet super absorbant?" You guessed it, Tampax to the rescue! :lol2:

Stayed there for the remander of the time I had the car, a little black Sharpie magic and done
