When I was stuck in traffic it climbed to like 230 degrees, but once i got moving it immediately dropped back down to 170ish....... Im thinking maybe the thermostat, but what is yalls guess? Blind 12-06-2006, 09:52 PM could be lots of things, first thing I would do personally is flush the coolant out and replace it, and replace the thermostat and radiator cap. Blue Bowtie 12-06-2006, 09:59 PM I'm thinking that there is either inadequate coolant flow or inadequate air flow at low RPM. Mav06 12-06-2006, 10:37 PM Kinda a silly idea but is your Fan cluch assembly on? I have seen a new Ford that it had come off and she was complaining of it being hot. lol Just a thought :iceslolan Matthew BlazerLT 12-06-2006, 11:40 PM Fan clutch for sure.
