:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: I have a 2000 GMC Sonoma 4X4. Recently I began hearing a road singing noise from the front of the truck. It seems to start at 40 mph. It's a grrrrr type noise. I have done a front end alignment, and replaced all the tires. So far the noise has not stopped. It seems to be coming from the right front tire area. I am open to any suggestions. Is the sound acompanied by a vibration? Does it get worse while turning in one direction, and seem to get better while turning in the other? If so, it could be your wheel bearing/hub assembly.

I am not sure about the vibration. I do know that it noise gets better when I turn in a different direction. Sometimes it almost stops. How difficult is it to replace a wheel bearing hub assembly on a Sonoma 4 X4? I imagine I will need to do both sides as well. What do you think? Thanks very much for your suggestion.

Hey, I was just wondering what the 4x4 is like on those i have a stepside 2 wheel... and is awful in the winter even worse without winter tires .... thanks!
