92 s-10 4X4 will not engageBig N 12-04-2006, 12:41 PM I am new to this sight. I was wondering wier the vacume hose was located at to engage the 4x4 on my 92 s-10 blazer? blazee 12-04-2006, 12:52 PM lilloon 01-25-2008, 02:12 PM first you need to check to see if the tansfer case is engaging. if it is, then under the battery tray theres an actuator for the front diff. when engaged it should be sucked in . and the rubber boot should be free of tears and cracks. i dont know if you have push button or the lever to engage 4x4. also, theres a vacuum switch the top of the t-case. if sends vac to the actuator. it gets its vac form the rear of the intake. hope this helps. old_master 01-25-2008, 06:56 PM first you need to check to see if the tansfer case is engaging. if it is, then under the battery tray theres an actuator for the front diff. when engaged it should be sucked in . and the rubber boot should be free of tears and cracks. i dont know if you have push button or the lever to engage 4x4. also, theres a vacuum switch the top of the t-case. if sends vac to the actuator. it gets its vac form the rear of the intake. hope this helps.
