i have an 89 amigo and it just quit running while i was driving the other day, and now it wont start at all.... we think it's the fuel pump because it does not make that humming noise when u try to start it.. any idea?

check or have someone check the connector at the fuel pump sometimes just disconnecting and reconnecting it will resolve your problem
if not it is possible that the alternator or charge relay may be the problem because if the alt. is out on this thing it will not start.

yeah dad ran a new wire and it still wouldn't start, and he doesn't think it's the alt... so i'm guessing it prob is the fuel pump
