RotorsBeautifulHaven 11-30-2006, 11:47 PM UGH! I own a 99 avenger es v6 2.5 liter if that helps. I have changed disc brakes before...not a problem, but I never have ever done rotors. I was told that all I have to do is loosen my caliper and just lift the caliper assembly completly off and the rotor should just slide off. I just wanted to ask on here first...cuz i would rather hear it on here if that is true or not? To me, that sounds way to easy...does anyone know if I have to do more or not, I know that I also need to of course get new brake pads...but don't I have to do anything with the master cylinder or what???? I know I just need to go out and just buy the stupid manual lol RIP 12-01-2006, 11:15 PM This is the closest I could get to a 99 : http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?ForwardPage=/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/1e/e2/18/0900823d801ee218.jsp Buy a can of brake cleaner. Many rotors are shipped coated with a preservative coating. You should still buy a manual. It's the best and cheapest investment you'll ever make. They've saved me thousands. Thank you so much for that info. It is much easier than I thought it would be and I will most definately buy a manual. I think auto zone's website will be one of fav's now lol :grinyes: 95_dodge_avenger 10-05-2007, 12:45 AM they just slide off the hub Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
