I have a 92 Lesabre and blower just goes on & off. It has the standard hvac. not ACC. I replaced resistor, relay, connector to resistor. still the same.
Today when i changed the resistor and connector i turned on the blower & vent button, turned key to on position-- Nothing!! then while i was scratching my head and staring at the blower it started up.:banghead: . The engine was not on, no vibrations or movement on the car.
Some one please help before i go nuts :screwy: .

The next time it does not come on, try bumping it with a hammer. If it comes on then, more than likely the blower motor brushes, or bearings are worn out and you need to replace the blower motor.:frown:

I had the exact same problem on my 92 and it was the blower motor itself. It drove me nuts until I replaced it (especially on cold mornings with frosted windows and no moving air to defrost it!)

to keep it running this long! I also, think it would be wise to replace it.:lol:
