I still think you should take it easy on your new vehicle for the first few thousand miles. Let the engine break in (if you think engines don't break in, check your oil after your first 1000 miles) and don't rev the engines too hard at first. You will get a longer lasting vehicle out of it. DR_Gallup 09-18-2002, 11:01 AM Nissan recommends 1200 miles below 4000 RPM in the owners manual. They say change oil at standard interval but I think an early change is cheap insurance.
