Hi guys, i need help with my 98 Jeep Cherokee. It happened once in a great while. The airbag light on the dashboard just came on and at the same time the speedometer, odometer, tripmeter, tachometer (RPM) didn't work. All other gauges (gas, temp, oil, etc) sometimes worked and sometimes didn't (when the airbag light were on). When it happened, the car run normally, & other things were fine. The problem didn't last long, usually just half a day/ a day, and everything went back normal again before i could find out what was wrong. Can anybody explain what's wrong or how to fix it? Thanks a lot!!:)

Did you have the airbag control unit relocate recall done?
All the gages have a problem with the connection at back.

Both these issues can be searched ....for previous user posts.

In fact, just search "air bag".
