I looked at ours and it looks to be like an adjustable clamp type of thing, sorry i cant remember what the name of it is. Can you cut it and re-tap? RIP 11-28-2006, 02:31 PM Is there room for a pneumatic gun in there? Stretch58 11-28-2006, 04:34 PM If it is the smaller (high pressure)line at the bottom of the pump, I don't think the nut that goes into the pump is supposed to come out. I think the line unscrews from the back of the nut, should be an o-ring in there too. When it is put on the new pump (with a new oring)torque the pressure hose to the nut to about 275 in/lbs(per my 2000 manual). No breaker bar will be needed. Let us know the outcome. karka 12-07-2006, 11:25 PM Hi, it's kara... it was the fluid line, it was flared and seized on the darn van. Had to cut the line, but don't have a bubble flare tool , so I put a compresion fitting on it . I'll keep marshmallows in case it blows up . Thanks for all the help and advise, I really appreciate it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
