Bad Outer Tie Rod

I went to get an alignment yesterday on my car bc I got new tires a couple days before that. After waiting 3 HOURS, they finally took my car. While putting the weights on, the passengerside front wheel would move when it wasn't on the ground. After they looked and it and checked everyth4ing out, it turns out to be a bad outer tie rod. This does finally explain the popping noise that the car has made since I bought the car. Good thing is that they quoted me $160 for replacement, alignment, and everything. Not too bad I dont think. Only problem, it takes 3 hours to do it. With the holidays, I don't have 3 hours. Working a ton of overtime the next couple weeks and still got school. Oh well. It'll happen soon enough though.

You could do it yourself, it's not that bad. If you wanted to that is.

I'm not a big fan of doing my own suspension work. Especially something like that. And plus I need the alignment anyways, so might as well get it all done together. Plus it has a warrenty then too.
