I have a 96 cirrus it's never given me any problems until now. Two weeks ago it started acting up if you put the defrost on , so i didn't use it, but one night while driving i used it and it was fine but the next morning I started it up to warm up and it was fine, came outside to go to work and smoke was comimg out of the hood and you could smell wires burning. I cut it off and now and ever since it won't start, it turns over but sounds like it's not getting a spark to it, checked plugs, crank pully and all fuses, what could it be?

I have a 96 cirrus it's never given me any problems until now. One week ago it started cut it off my engine and now and ever since it won't start, it turns over but sounds like it's not getting a spark to it, checked plugs, crank pully and all fuses, what could it be?
I'm thinking about something ,but i'm not for sure.
