Going abroadpacman99 11-23-2006, 03:54 PM Hey, I was planning on going abroad in december and coming back home in like march or april. So for about 4 months, nobody's going to be home and I won't be driving my car obviously. My question was, is there anything I can do with the car before I leave that'll reduce the amount of damage that'll be done to it while I'm gone? I'm being told that leaving the car standing outside or even in a garage for several weeks at a time isn't good for it. And i'm in Canada so lots of snow :( For at least 2 months I'll have to leave the car outside in the winter, that's for sure. The other 2 months, I might be able to get it in a garage. Thanks~ Schister66 11-23-2006, 06:25 PM make sure there isn't a lot of gas in it or you put some kind of fuel stabilizer in it.... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
