There's currently a car show at the convention center that runs through Thanksgiving weekend annually in Orlando. My friend just called me (I'm out of town) and said that an "orange McLaren F1" is on display next to an FXX. :grinyes: He'll send me an e-mail of some pictures he took when he has the chance, but I'm not sure if Mr. Wallace's collection will be on display throughout the weekend. So if you're in Orlando, try to check it out!

If this wasn't the worst weekend of the year to fly in this country I'd probably be on a plane. Bummer that...

I was actually surprised the F1 is there. It's not really that type of car show. Last time I went was 2001 or 02. It's like a regular auto show held with only manufacturers attending. They have Ferrari of Central Florida, though. Best one I went to was in 1999. They had a euro F50 and F40 LM at the FoCF booth. The LM is owned by the owner of the dealership. It was awesome. :D

jvcardesign, sorry you missed it. That color looks stunning in person. My friend who called me up was never a huge fan of the F1 before, but now he really likes it. I knew he'd convert once he gave it a chance in the flesh. Maybe someday you'll see it in Tampa where it resides if you visit again in the future.

I was there, the Don Wallace cars (F1, Veyron, FXX) along with a GT40 replica, Shelby Daytona replica, and a few others were in the Dupont Registry display. The show is typically all factory cars with a couple displays of modified cars. GM also had a heritage collection with a few interesting vehicles.
