93 regal, cranks, no startbassbum 11-22-2006, 10:13 AM 11/22/2006 9 AM, I have a 93 regal, 3800, 150,000 miles, new ICM, new batt, new tune-all, ran great, no leaks / burn, great mileage. Ran on friday, cranks but wont start, on Monday. I dont own a scan tool, have had verbal discussions with others, may be CPS,KPS, ICM, PCM,ECM, or fuel pump, (almost full tank!!! we dont want this problem) I'm aware that at this cars age 14 years and 150,000 miles that certain item go that cause this problem. Crank sensors and other sensors, fuel pumps and so forth. there are known common reasons for this crank, no start situation, based on mechinacs experiences, I need a short, street / shop smart based response based on experience, dinostic flow to determine the best place to start checking and replacing, to get this wonderful car back on the road. Such as this is the most common item to fail /replace, then this item, and so forth, I want to avoid the tank drop, it's an ouside repair temps in the 40's, no fun. Thanks MT-2500 11-22-2006, 10:47 AM 11/22/2006 9 AM, I have a 93 regal, 3800, 150,000 miles, new ICM, new batt, new tune-all, ran great, no leaks / burn, great mileage. Thanks Welcome on your first post on AF. A good repair manual would give you some good tips on a no start problem. But first get under the hood and check for good hot blue spark to all spark plugs. Can you hear the fuel pump run. Are you getting good fuel pressure up to specs? Got gas in the tank?:grinyes: Have you got a good fuel pressure gauge? Has it had any security or check engine lights on. You can check for codes by jumping the a and b at diagnostic connector. http://www.troublecodes.net/GM/ keishaladawn 01-05-2007, 10:03 AM Have you taken your starter to get tested like at an Auto Zone, etc? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
