hey i have a 1988 holden astra hatch and was woundering to make it get up and go would a ca18det or sr20det or even without the turbos fit in or would i need to change the engine mounts cheers ben

It is a nightmare conversion... need the wiring harness/ECU/AFM and fuel pump upgrade along with a brake upgrade. Yes, the engine mounts need to be from a KN13 EXA for the CA18DE or DET to fit.

The SR20DE or DET swap is even more complex even though it has been done. Budget over AUS$5000 for the conversion...
