brakes price?...sorryjdmhagen 11-21-2006, 12:52 AM ok so i looked and i looked and i looked, but i can not find how much a 300zx brake swap would cost. I could be blind but i havent found anything, so can someone help me out and tell me how much it would be for some good condition, 300zx tors and calipers and everything else needed for the swap. Maybe comparisons to some from a junk yard and brand new. dont include labor and redrilling the rotors. LINKS WOULD BE GREAT. any help appreciated thanks slideways... 11-21-2006, 02:09 AM heres a nice site for starters... http://importnut.net/300zxbrakeswap.htm but as far as your question goes, http://www.junkyards.com/ post your request, check your email, junkyards will often send quotes if you just ask. they also can usually take care of all the shipping hassles too(you still have to pay the shipping though). i got my motor from a site like this, i dont remember for sure which site it was but it operated the same way. i found a good condition KA24DE with both manifolds, oil pan to valve cover, fan blades to clutch pressure plate complete for 600 bucks shipped. you can find some great deals. try a few sites if the first doesnt come up with anything. as far as new, you can just go to napa or something and ask how much for all the parts brand new with reman calipers, and compare with prices like these for semi performance upgraded kits. http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/brakesz32.html http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=CP&Category_Code=240sx_nms_gtrbrake http://storesense.megawebservers.com/HS318/-strse-1034/*Wilwood-Superlite-Big-Brake/Detail.bok http://storesense.megawebservers.com/HS318/-strse-1214/Agency-Power-Stainless-Steel/Detail.bok this one is in my opinion the best deal http://www.splparts.com/ go to brakes and upgrades. xcusememisswyn 11-21-2006, 03:16 PM search junkyards and for sale threads, i peiced together my entire brake setup for 470 including shipping... way less than it would run you to buy it all together... brakes just as good setup: 26mm Calipers rebuilt up front, hawk pads all around, stainless steel lines all around, off brand rotors (rotors dont matter unless your racing), rebuilt the stock rea calipers... all the odds and ends to peice it together, driven it over 15000 miles with no problems and awesome stopping jdmhagen 11-21-2006, 06:47 PM ok thanks for the links, helped a lot it was buggin me vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
