I might buy a 95 regal 3.8 that looks like it needs an oil pan gasket. I found a thread about it. Can anyone tell me, can I do this job on jack stands or does the car need to be on a lift ?Also are there any pics/instructions anywhere to reference. Thanks in advance for any and all input.

Check autozone.com/repairinfo. A lift would be nice, this is not an easy job as you will see.

Thanks for the reply and info Max. I looked in AZ earlier and for some reason could only find generic info. But I'm wondering if anyone here personaly has been involved in doing one of these.

Getting the motor mount bkt out of the way is problematic as you can/will see. I found that on some of these the oil is coming out around the bolts and by removing one at a time and sealing them with rtv I just about eliminated the leaks, not a real repair, but so what.

Thanks again max. I passed on the car. I stopped and crawled under the front end on Sun to get a good look at oil pan and found a bunch of things unplugged, plus it needed 2 tires and the a/c didn't work. TO MUCH WRONG. Thanks again.
