I'm very excited. It looks hot.

Finally no more shame for loving Hondas.

I don't know what to think. Mid-engine, SH-AWD, V10 could be a good combination, but I worry about weight. The NSX was all about handling, and I fear that AWD and a 4.5l engine could spoil what was a great combination. It also sounds a bit like they are copying the new Audi R8 (Mid-engine, AWD, 4.2l, ~$100,000). My final concern is the F1 references. F1 cars don't use V10s anymore and they sure as hell don't use AWD.

I won't make any final judgements until it is actually out.

AWD should only be offered as an option. Those who want it pay for it, those who don't get the good ole RWD.

I was reading the article, it says they are going after Aston with the car. This is what I don't understand. A good portion of the people who buy Ferraris, Lambos, Astons, etc., don't buy them just for the performance, they buy them becuase of the breeding and the badge. I don't know any Aston owners, but I was discussing this with my neighbor who has a 996 Turbo and is going for a 997 Turbo...he was like, I don't care if it can out perform my car, its still a Honda. Most of the people I know who own high end cars are like that. So why would Honda be trying to target Aston owners. Shouldn't they be looking to sell in the market for people looking for affordable track cars?

And I'm sorry if this post makes no sense or doesn't flow. I have the first cold to actually kick my ass in a while, my eyes are swollen, and I have an middle ear infection in my left ear so I cant hear a damn thing.

Time will tell, hard to judge a car that isn't out yet. Also, I don't think the NSX ever qualified as an affordable track car..... track car yes, affordable not to anyone I know.

Aston owners are not going to dump their cars for this. They are two completely different kind of cars. Honda should know better this time around.

i totally agree.

It's the key reason why the NSX failed so miserably here. Like yeah it performs like a god, but who the hell can justify spending 100K++ on a bloody Honda.
