I'm 27 living in Richmond Va. I've been working on hondas for about 4 years built and raced many but I have a new love the Nissan 240sx. I built 2 crx's one w/ a zc and the other w/ a b16 I've allways wanted a 240 and so I found someone w/ a 91 sport coupe who wanted to trade for my zc. So thats where my problems began. The car ir mint looks great but the crank angle sensor in the distributor was bad no prob. i replaced it then i had to fix the idle prob. i thought it was the spark plug and wires so.... I replaced them. .....no fix. I then decided to check the injectors so i started the car and one by one I pulled the injector wires off to see witch one wasn't spraying if any . Bingo . the # 2 injector wasn't spraying . so i replaced the injector (By the way this is a 91 ka24 W/ the d.o.h.c.) which was a pain in the a@#. When i finshed i started the motor and had the same prob. now the #1 injector isn't spraying .... but the #2 is. What the @#$% Is going on ....... is there an injector resistor box on this motor? or does anyone have any ideas??????????? Please Help Me, I just want to drive my car.

could be a bad injector clip somewhere.

I replaced the fuel rail along w/ all of the injectors w/ a doner part from a friends 240 ka dohc in which 2 of the injectors on the rail had allready been replaced. The doner part was in working condition when it was removed.

I have not completely checked the wireing. When I first started to work on the car all but the #2 Injector would spray , now w/ the doner part installed All but the #1 injector will spray. So I don't think it is the wireing or the clip on the injector.

Is there any part on the dohc KA24 that sends signal to the injectors telling them when to spray? (allmost like a injector risistor box on a honda?)

Please Help I want to drive my 240 not a honda!

You know whats mest-up even the nissan dealer here in rich have no idea how to help me, I refuse to give up!!!!!!!

I don't think so good ? though I'll double check. Could the timeing being out make the car miss-fire?

It really confuses me because the car miss-fired at first because the #2 injector would not spray. Now that the bad injector has been replaced the #1 injector will not spray makeing the car miss-fire the same way.

if the injector isnt firing, then i would assume it has to do with something other than timing. Sounds like an electrical problem. You could take the injectors down to an injection shop to have them tested real quick to make sure they all work.

to answer your other question, the injector signal comes directly from the ECU. theres no magic box. try switching #1 with #4 or something and see what happens.
