'97 LesabreSmith1000 11-14-2006, 07:33 PM When fixing a flat this evening, I noticed the oder of gasoline near the rear of the Lesabre. I crawled under and found that there is a slight leak where the metal line from the tank meets the rubber hose (gas supply line). I'll fix it this weekend. It is a small leak. There is a lot of dust and dirt gathered where it is leaking. I am wondering if this would be enough to impact my gas mileage to some degree a) due to the leak and b) a reduction in fuel pressure? The car has been running great, but my mileage isn't what it used to be. On occasion, I have noticed the oder of gas when getting out of the car after shutting off the engine, in particular when it was warmer out. maxwedge 11-14-2006, 07:41 PM Slight leak, very slight changes in fp and fuel mileage. LeSabre97mint 11-14-2006, 10:41 PM I had the same problem on my 97. Dan vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
