Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and can send me in the right direction? Driving down the road there is a rattle that sounds like someone wrapped deer bells around my driveshaft. At first I thought it was a tensioner, but it isn't related to engine speed (goes away when I stop, and doesn't occur when I rev the engine). I changed the wheels & tires, so it certainly isn't the wheels or a loose center cap. It isn't a grinding sound. I have also been able to seperate it from the wind leaks around the back side windows. Anyone else have a similar experience?

front or rear drive shaft? Have you inspected the shafts?

Sounds like a similar noise mine was making a while back. I would only hear it now and then, the odd time when just driving and other times when hitting small pot holes ect. It turned out to be the emergency brake shoes or lack there of. The brake lining was worn off so the backing plate for the emergency brakes was hitting the drum, metal to metal now and then making the dinging sound I was hearing.
