Nissan Or KiaLisa716 11-14-2006, 08:21 AM Hey my name is Lisa and I'm getting ready to start college. There are two cars for sale. I am in a pickle about which one to purchase. I haven't test drove either of them. 1. 94 Nissan Sentra 159,000. Needs New Tires. They're asking $1,200. But, I am not going to pay them full price if I have to put tires on it. 2. Kia Rio White, 4 Door, One Owner, 5 Speed Only 73,000 Miles. $1,500 ... I know the Nissan isn't worth $1,200 because it will need an oil change and brand new tires. However, the Kia I feel will last me longer and I won't have to put as much in repairs as I would the Nissan because the owner said the Nissan "is what it is" .... If anyone has any advice, it would be very helpful. Thank you PlayStation3 11-15-2006, 07:35 AM i would go with the kia becuase of the lesser miles sgdtr2989 11-15-2006, 08:38 PM Hey my name is Lisa and I'm getting ready to start college. Thank you what year is the kia, i hear it kind of has a reputation for being really low quality, but im not too sure, but if the 94 nissan needs tires and oil and all your going for is a daily driver, yeah, the kia might be a good one to go with. PlayStation3 11-16-2006, 02:59 PM needing an oil change is not a reason why you shouldn't buy it though. tires maybe if it had performence tires i would turn away from it. but i would still get the kia becuase the nissan has 159k on it and the kia has less then half of that 98BlackTransAm 11-25-2006, 06:49 AM if it were same year/mileage/condition etc i'd take the datsun, but if you're just lookin for a daily driver that you'll have to pour the least amount of $$ into, then kia ftw. karnovking 12-03-2006, 02:01 AM I'd keep looking for something else. I wouldn't touch a Kia with a 50 foot pole. It is hard to make a call on the Nissan without seeing it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
