where is the fuel relay on 92 dx hatchprototype80 11-13-2006, 10:22 PM a year ago i took the advice of several well respected members on here about my fuel relay possibly being bad in my 92 dx ( symptoms include plenty of spark, new fuel filter, plugs, wires, fuel pump, battery, turns over but acts like it is not getting fuel...problem is especially prominent during the summer months here in texas when it gets in heat indexes of over 115 degrees f) i left for iraq with the part on order and i finally got it in a week or 2 later...but i havent been able to put it on because of my year long desert vacation. i have a haynes manual but cannot for the life of me find where this relay is at, someone said it was near the floorboard somewhere but failed to tell me where. if someone can please hook me up with the location so i can replace this part, ,my car is acting like a lemon once again with acting like its not getting enough fuel. thanks for your help it may be the fuel solenoid, i just remembered but i am unsure what the name of it is now Pavlo 11-14-2006, 11:03 AM It is the fuel relay, it is relatively common in older hondas, i've replaced a few myself. For a 5th gen the realy is located right next to the inside fusebox. If you get under your dash it going to be to the left (closer to the outside) of the fusebox. It looks like a big box, with a brown (generally) plug going to it. prototype80 11-15-2006, 07:54 PM thanks, replaced the relay today....problem solved vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
