I have a 1986 nissan 200sx. The problem I'm having is the low beams are not working. I have changed the headlights, checked the relay as well as the switch. What happens is when I turn on the headlights all of the running lights come on and the car says the headlights are on but the low beams wont come on , however if I switch the high beams on they work fine.

Please post with any suggestions to what may be cuasing this problem thx.

With my 89 240 the headlights pop up, and the low beams work fine, but the high beams dont. I finally figured out that it wasnt the bulbs but the wiring, there was a wire somewhere up front that was bad and shorting out. Hope that helps :uhoh:

you might try asking around a few other places. theres a small group of hardcore s12 guys on Nico that might have the answer, i would think it was fuses or a relay.
