Broken starter housing...forty2nsome 11-13-2006, 04:39 PM Hi everyone.Have an 1989 Lesbre T type with a 3.8. Wouldn't start this morning, determined it was the starter. When I pulled it out the nose piece was broken off.Anyone have any ideas?I would guess improperly shimmed but had it shimmed same as origional that was changed about a year ago.Never had this problem before.:screwy: spinne1 11-13-2006, 07:37 PM Hi everyone.Have an 1989 Lesbre T type with a 3.8. Check that. I would put it back the way I found it unless I had reason to believe it does not go that way. Whoaru99 11-13-2006, 07:47 PM Hi everyone.Have an 1989 Lesbre T type with a 3.8.
