Hey Guys,

Quick question what are the major differences between a Aluminized exhaust system and a Stainless exhaust system? Is it just looks? or is there a functional difference.

Thanks,

Aluminized also refered to as AK (aluminum killed) is is steel that contains aluminum. It makes the steel softer and easier to fabricate. It does not have the corrosion resistance that stainless does. However, stainless can rust too. Low grade stainless that does noes not contain enough nickel and too much carbon will rust somewhat. Recomendation-go for stainless.
