Codes that the car gives you with it's own reading system or codes pulled with a scanner? There are two different ones. If they're with a scanner, just google "eclipse <code number here>"

Work on the coolant SENSOR CODE first.
Is the engine getting up to operating tempture?
Does the PCM read the right engine tempture?

1) Does the car get up to normal operating temp? You might have a thermostat stuck open, which would cause it to run cold constantly.

2) How does the car run? Gas mileage okay?

3) Check the power steering system and make sure everything is plugged in. I've never seen the power steering code before and I'm not on my laptop so I can't look it up. I'll see what I can find when I get on my laptop.

my gas mileage is only around 18 mpg so... and the running temperature seems to stay a little cool. Would a thermostat cause that and where is it located?

Yeah the theromostat would cause it to run cold all the time. It's in the thermostat housing off to the left front of the head.
