93 accord intermittent stall

4 cyl, manual trans, engine stalls @ idle when stopped, engine will restart with extended crank but check engine light comes on restart and engine bogs on accel. when you restart engine, light goes out & engine runs fine till it stalls out again. nothing has been done as of yet, any direction to start at or common problem to check out. other than stall out, it runs like a top with 265k on it. thanks

You need to read codes stored in the ECU.
I think the procedure is outlined somewhere at the top of the forum.

I pulled codes over the weekend for crank sensor & fuel injectors, pulled and checked distributor and replace distributor due to faulty sensor, which i kinda of suspected to begin with. the accord is back up and running again. thanks for your help .
