would a 2500 or 2600 rpm stall speed torque converter be completely horrible for the street, or could it be used and still have relatively decent low rpm operation when in normal driving conditions?

also at high speeds, do higher stalling converters get close to being 1 to 1 just like a stock one would or is there always a large degree of slippage going on no matter what?
