1990 Honda accord automatic seat belt problemChopper1356 11-08-2006, 08:34 AM Hello! I was wondering if anybody had any experience with the automatic seat belt in the 1990 Honda accords of not coming back to the lock position after you close the door. When you open the door the seat belt moves on a track and allows a passenger to get in. When you close the door the seat belt moves back to the locked position and goes across their chest. Well when a passenger opens the door the seat belt moves to allow the person to get in, but when they close the door it stays there and does not return to where it is supposed to be. Well I get a flashing red light on the dash and a continious beeping sound that is driving me crazy. Has anybody had any experiece with this. I would like to either fix it or disconnect it so I don't hear that beeping noise. Do you know what sensor it works off of etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Take it to the nearest Honda dealer and the repair should be covered by Honda. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
