It's a year old starter, no problems till I moved to Albany and it started happening when it gotten really frickin cold. click click click Start, and it doesn't do it if I've driven the car within maybe 2 hours.

Some suggested the starter was coming loose (dad installed it) after all of this time (my driving). My dad suggested it's the weather and may be the battery?? Because that battery is old. My power works fine so it's not the alternator. So what are the ideas?

Battery charger won't do shit if the battery is bad. Go to Autozone or a garage, they should be able to test it, if it's bad, just replace it, it's under 100$ and it'll save you big headaches and at least you'll know that your car will always start.

def battery... its happened to me plenty of times get a new one, like jon said its not worth recharging it if its shit

1991 s-10 wont start in winter when wet but when wet in summer it will start..what is this?? never had this problem until i put new distribiter in 4 years ago every since hard to start in winter
