I am attempting to replace my engine coolant temperature sensor on a 97 Accord 4cyl non-vtec. I was told it is a fairly easy operation, however the book I have doesn't tell me how to remove the broken one and install the new one. The book only shows me where it is located. :banghead:

Can anyone help me with a walk thru of how to remove the old sensor?

I understand that installatioin is the reverse of removal.

There are two sensors on Accords. One for the gauge at your dash board. One for the ECU. Which one are you going to replace?
