Ae86vanzz 11-05-2006, 04:47 AM It's Aosgima's kit of Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 Early version. I wanna make a fast drift car likes Takumi's Hachiroku. Rims r the same Keiichi's levin use. And...i dont know another English words) http://www.ljplus.ru/img/v/a/vanzz/_ae86.JPG http://www.ljplus.ru/img/v/a/vanzz/ae86.JPG http://www.ljplus.ru/img/v/a/vanzz/IMG_1301.JPG http://www.ljplus.ru/img/v/a/vanzz/IMG_1296.JPG Vyacheslav 11-05-2006, 05:49 AM Loving this, should look very nice But aren't the tires a bit too small for those rims? vanzz 11-05-2006, 07:11 AM No. it's a style) Vyacheslav 11-05-2006, 07:19 AM No. it's a style) haha man, don't tell me about the style, I have grown on 240's and ae86's, and have seen everything. but look at it again, front is alright, but the real has a huge fender gap. Normaly in real life when I used 13-14 inch wheels on my ae86, I always used 55-60 profile, which makes it look perfect, but having low profile tires on small dishy wheels is just wrong. willimo 11-05-2006, 08:56 PM No, it's not. It's his style. He can tell you about style all he wants, just as much as you can tell him about style. So let him build the car he wants. Plasticmodeler702 11-05-2006, 10:32 PM I love the ae86, nice car. I actually think those rims look nice with the small tires... Goodjob and keep us posted on the progress. Everyone has styles of building, and thats what makes it fun and interesting, and thats why there is not any right way to build, as long as you are having fun, you are doing everything right! stryfe101 11-05-2006, 11:58 PM Great job so far, I always liked Keiichi's Levin with the oni's on it, those were my dream wheels when I had my 240.. vanzz 11-06-2006, 04:23 AM i can't tell u about it 'cuz dont know english) But it's reall thing japanese used.(by the way japanese and american tuning/drift society r different) http://www.ljplus.ru/img/v/a/vanzz/IMG_1276.JPG On this rims its illusion, on really(when used tires more small that rims) it's like this http://www.ljplus.ru/img/v/a/vanzz/rims.JPG bri g 11-06-2006, 04:33 AM wow those are some handsome wheels. the stretchwall tires looks really good on it. Vyacheslav 11-09-2006, 07:20 AM i can't tell u about it 'cuz dont know english) But it's reall thing japanese used.(by the way japanese and american tuning/drift society r different) http://www.ljplus.ru/img/v/a/vanzz/IMG_1276.JPG On this rims its illusion, on really(when used tires more small that rims) it's like this http://www.ljplus.ru/img/v/a/vanzz/rims.JPG Btw i am not american. I am into this style myself, and i've had 2 hachi rokus, 1 240sx, 1 datsun, all followed with dishy wheels in small size. I love advans, where did you buy yours? I am also not talking about the width of the tire, i am talking about the height of the sidewall. stretched tires are sick, i love them, I used to run 195 on 8.5 inch rim :D vanzz 01-07-2007, 04:51 AM bhop73 01-07-2007, 05:13 AM oh man... please scrap that wing turbos86 01-07-2007, 06:25 AM oh man... please scrap that wing +1 Huge wing but no bodykit on a 86 is really odd looking. vanzz 01-07-2007, 06:44 AM Don't think so. ...MAy be Wing is really big. But i want rear wing. If i find i'll set smaller wing. There rnot bodykit 'cos i don't want acar like D1, i wanna make sport car. 4Exemple Look at Keiich's TRD AE86 energon 01-07-2007, 11:35 AM Wingless is best. Other than that it looks good! Honoturtle 01-07-2007, 01:35 PM My Gosh! If you really want to keep that wing you should shorten both width and height slightly. Keiichi Tsuchiya's car for reference: http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/35516KeiichisNewTRDAE8602.jpg vanzz 01-07-2007, 10:27 PM My Gosh!
