T lime WIPPRIVATEER 11-04-2006, 05:05 PM This is a project I've wanted to do for some time. Its JImmy Flintstone's resin T body on an AMT chassis, with the engine from AMT's Stude. Color is Testors new laquer Sublime with Tamiya's Pearl clear. The wire wheels are photo-etch. Still needs lots of work! http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a338/privateer1967/Tchassis.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a338/privateer1967/tside.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a338/privateer1967/34t.jpg alakai 11-04-2006, 05:40 PM wow. that is definitely lime. looking good so far. white97ex 11-04-2006, 11:12 PM awesome Plasticmodeler702 11-04-2006, 11:56 PM That color is beautiful. I really like the stance. PRIVATEER 11-05-2006, 01:14 PM I did a little more to it today. I added tail lights from a 59 Caddy, finished the grill with some screen, and painted the interior gloss white. Still lots to do! http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a338/privateer1967/ebay/psvra/caddylites.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a338/privateer1967/ebay/psvra/tgrill.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a338/privateer1967/ebay/psvra/ovhed.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a338/privateer1967/ebay/psvra/rear.jpg tigeraid 11-05-2006, 01:16 PM Lovin the twin blowers. Were the rear tires already white walls or did you mask and paint them? white97ex 11-05-2006, 01:41 PM this is friggin awesome!!!!! PRIVATEER 11-05-2006, 01:56 PM Lovin the twin blowers. Were the rear tires already white walls or did you mask and paint them? The rear tires are from AMT's RatPacker kit. They are molded in white styrene, I panted them a rubber colr and sanded the side walls so that the white showed through. willimo 11-05-2006, 08:50 PM Cool! I love these old school show rods. Awesome work so far. Where'd you get the etched wires? PRIVATEER 11-05-2006, 09:02 PM The wire wheels are from Replicas and Miniatures. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
