I have had a lot of problems with this jimmy .My heater was switching to hot and cold positions every 5 or ten seconds,for couple days.Now it stoped on cold .I took panel a part to get acces to heater switch unit to check for loose wires (with automatic option ,4 butons on the buttom ).While I was doing it my ignition was on ON position ,Now after dark when my head lights automaticly switch on all dash lights and panel ligts don't work .Couldn't see speedometr in the dark .My question is anybody know how to switch heater on heat possition manualy (I still wait for new heater switch bought it on ebay).How I could get my dim lights back?Any help please

Sounds like you have a vacuum line off is the reason it goes from hot to cold be sure to hook all the electric and vacuum lines up to the new control when you put it back. Also check under your hood on the driver's side for a ball looking thing and make sure the vacuum line is hooked to it this is what works your heater doors and controls. As for you low beams try pulling back or pushing forward on the turn signal lever and the interior lights roll your dimmer switch.

Last to days it started doing weired things . if I leave it for couple hours ,gate window ( one you lift up) unlocking ,it cousing interior lights to stay on for 15 min.
