My rear defrost is not working. I've checked fuses and voltage back at the grid. My light is coming on, on the front control panel, and is timing off like the book says it should, but no heat. I've checked voltage between the grids and get none. I am getting continuity from each side of the grid to ground. I've checked the schematic and it reads that the back fm grid and am grid also works through the same relay if I'm reading it right, but the fm and am grid seems to working alright. Any suggestions? I've started to change the relay ( under back seat ) but it seemed exceptionally hard to pull out, so I didn't pull it out for fear of breaking something. Any help would be appreciated very much. Thanks, sparky

You'll need to check the output of the defogger relay. Also, another component in the circuit is an RF filter Module. See thread below:

Also, when you press the defogger button you should be able to hear or feel the relay energize.

bnaylor, thanks for the information. Do you know what holds the cover on that covers the module? I don't want to break something trying to get it off?
Does it just snap straight out? Also is there a trick to getting the relay out that is under the back seat? I tried one other time, and it was terribly hard, and I was afraid I would break the circuit board. Thanks again..... Steve
