BNaylor 11-03-2006, 10:50 AM Thanks, fuel pressure at rail is only 8 psi, what should it be??? For your year model Regal GS probably nothing less than 38 - 40 psi. 8 psi is obviously too low. I'd check into a bad fuel pump or possible electrical problem like a fuel pump relay. BTW - What do you get at ignition to on not start (fuel pump prime position)? Upallnite 11-03-2006, 09:27 PM I had the same problem with my 1999 GSE . It ended up being the fuel pump was restricted by a build up of tarnish on the screen on the fuel pump itself. I had to replace the pump . I was told this was due to ethanol that has been added to the gas. It had taken the tarnish off the inside of my tank and sent it to the pump clogging the screen and choking my fuel filter. I dont know about yours but the fuel pump for mine cost 400 bucks(not including labor). Good luck. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
