I'm attempting to open an auto shop specializing in performance modifications. Thing is, I've been worrying about the future of the modification area. Will it last? Will it be harder to mod hybrid cars or hydrogen cars? I don't want to pour everything I have into a falling industry. What do you all think?

Don't worry so much about the future. Be flexible and evolve/change with the times. People will always want to customize their cars and get more performance. My $0.02 for my 56 years of experience...
