just got my exhaust manifold fixed and now my engine light is on. I get the code 455. Is there something I should be checking for under the hood. Any help would be great, since I can't afford to take it back in.

Code P0455: Evap Leak Monitor, Large Leak Detected. The leak detection monitor is unable to pressurize Evap system, indicating large leak.

I would check all vacuum lines especially the ones that goto the evap canister, some vehicles have a leak detection pump located by the gas tank with some vacuum lines ocming off them and going to the engine check these as well. I do not believe your jeep has a leak detection pump, but it might.

Can I drive with it like this or is it not safe. The only thing I can think of is they didn't hook something back up. But not knowing anything about cars I don't know where to start.

O.K. just reconnected two hoses connected to my purgr solenoid. Now my question is should my engine light just go off after a while of driving or do I need to get the code deleted and how do I do it?

Disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, the code will clear.
