KimMG 11-01-2006, 04:56 PM Some repair manuals show alternative locations for jack stand placement. Do you have a repair manual? You should look at a manual before working on the brakes. Modern cars have specialized instructions for bleeding and compressing calipers that do not pertain to older cars. Especially if you have anti-lock brakes. xt477 11-03-2006, 06:25 PM under the rocker panel? I have never seen anyone place a stand inder the rocker panel. Use the factory jack then look just behind there and you'll see the frame and place the stands under the frame. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
